One of the songs on the Teenage Kicks EP that isn’t Teenage Kicks and suffers because of it. Not being Teenage Kicks yet existing so close to it, on the other side of a 7″ record requiring effort to lift and flip over for what is essentially a less rewarding experience. But marginally. It seems very wrong to class another Undertones song as a less rewarding experience, but that serves them right for writing Teenage Kicks. True Confessions is great. They all are, just less so.
