Tasogare no etude – Onishi Yuka
One thing i like about 80′s Japanese pop is how melancholy the songs can be, without being ballads, or ballads as that word has come to indicate. Sad, sad, morose songs of longing and despondence. It definitely seems in a tradition, going back those Meiko Kaji sang in her films, and probably further. This my favourite song i’ve come across so far in this music, which for the moment only seems to be from Onyanko Club members or Sukeban Deka actresses. Yuka was a Sukeban Deka actress, in the third season.
